22 Indian companies find place in the Forbes list of "200 best Asian companies under $ 1 billion". China occupied top slot with 88 Companies while Japan and Taiwan occupied second and third slots with 24 and 23 Companies. Forbes magazine annually picks "best 200 mid and small caps" in the Asia-Pacific region from 24,155 listed companies. Full list will appear in the September 29 issue of Forbes Asia magazine.

4 NRIs in the richest Americans list:
Techno visionary Vinod Khosla, Angel investor K. Ram Shriram, Syntel founder Bharat Desai and Amar Bose (Bose sound systems) found place in the 400 richest Americans list. We will see more NRIs in the future Forbes lists. Amar Bose was inducted into the "National Inventors Hall of Fame".
